It’s times like these that you need to stay positive!

At the moment, there’s a lot of things going on that we have absolutely no control over. So let’s focus on what we can control and take action!

In times like these, you need to Be Smart and follow the official guidelines that governments or healthcare organizations are providing.

Basically…

  • Wash your hands often with soap and water for 20 seconds minimum
  • If soap and water are not available, use an alcohol based hand sanitizer
  • Avoid touching your eyes, nose, and mouth with your hands
  • Clean and disinfect frequently touched surfaces daily
  • Stay at home as much as you can and avoid close contact with people (Put at least 1 meter distance between yourself and other people)

We need to see the bright side to keep sane and it’s essential to face this challenging moment with a positive attitude.

If you feel that panic and anxiety is taking over, just STOP and take a few deep breaths. Take time to practice deep breathing and it will help you seeing things more clearly. On YouTube you can find plenty of videos for guided meditation. Just give it a try.

Use the extra time you have staying home to establish a routine that is both productive and healthy.

Drink a lot of water. Even more than usual. Staying hydrated is very important now more than ever.

Eat Real Healthy Food. Especially fruit and vegetables that nourish your body with healthy elements and boost your immune system.

Exercise daily. There are plenty of options to workout on-line (DDP YOGA NOW APP) and once in a while you can go for a walk but make sure you go alone or follow the 1 meter distance rule

Stay productive. Try not to spend most of your day on the couch watching TV, you can read a book, study a new language, do crafty stuff, learn how to play an instrument, do some deep cleaning, gardening … Really, whatever you usually  say you have no time for, now it’s the time to do it.

Enjoy your time with your family and find activities you can do all together. You can turn this uncomfortable situation into a family bonding experience.

Use positive affirmations when you wake up. Focus on your favorites quotes and tell yourself out loud that your day is going to be great and face it with a smile.

As DDP said in his Motivational Monday video “Let’s face this challenge with a positive attitude because Negative brings Negative and Positive, as you know, brings Positive” Own it!

Be Strong. Be Positive. Be Unstoppable!
